Ardenno’s mission is to provide easy-to-access Collaborative Knowledge Management software solutions that enable buisnesses to better collaborate, while supporting regulatory compliance demands and to help secure intellectual property. We are committed to developing disruptive data management solutions that add rapid, quantifiable, customer value to customers existing infrastructure solutions, without the traditional burdensome IT resource support needs.
The Ardenno Story: An Idea Takes Root
The seeds for the idea of Ardenno’s Collaboration Knowledge Management solution germinated from being exposed to common weaknesses in a multitude of businesses —around the globe. We observed a common thread of pain and inefficiencies that was prevalent in businesses of all sizes and without regard for their focus. We found that each and every business was generating an accelerating amount of data and was unable to maximize its value across their various teams. The inability to share knowledge and learn from other related or useful observations and findings in a timely manner could be directly related to the wasting of expensive resources. We also observed that automated hierarchical storage and compliance systems more making the “My Data” syndrome actually worse, not better.
There had to be a better way to help make knowledge workers more knowledgeable.
It was clear to us that we could make a very positive contribution to the business community by applying what we learned from all of our customer visits and interviews. If we could save one life, or help a new product come to market faster, then we could feel proud to say we made a difference. And we think that the Ardenno solution will help many projects act smarter, and better leverage their surrounding knowledge community.
And thus, the idea for an Ardenno product takes root.
Key design aspects for the product included:

- Create a solution that a business would gain benefits by using
- Create a self-evident application that requires minimal training
- Visually present knowledge in a “social networking” manner for business
- Support existing storage and compliance infrastructure investments.
- Leverage today’s technology.
- Make it affordable.
