Java Developers (3)
Job Summary:
Ardenno Solutions is currently searching for Java Developers. These are full–time home office based positions. The selected candidate will participate in the development of Ardenno's Collaborative Management Software products. You will interact with the core product development team, creating extensions to the core product from specification. At certain points in the product's lifecycle, you will participate in the testing process through review and analysis and certification of our software. You may work directly with customers on their requirements, developing technical specifications from customer requirements for customer specific needs, developing software for those requirements and provide occasional technical support.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Java language and servlet technology
- Server side / engine design and development
- Strong knowledge of at least one of Oracle, SQL Server or DB2 required
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational data structures
- Strong knowledge of storage infrastructure architecture
- Strong knowledge of at least one of Windows, Unix (Solaris) or Linux required
- 3+ years professional experience creating packaged software is required
- Ability to create quality software on time with minimal supervision
- Intelligent, fast learner, readily adaptable to new technology and challenges
- Ability to work as part of a high achieving team
Highly Desirable:
- Excellent oral and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience programming with EJBs
- Experience programming integration for EMC, IBM Storage, HP Storage or Hitachi Storage systems
- Experience developing commercial software products
- Requirements gathering skills
- Ability to perform R&D efforts on emerging technologies in the marketplace
